Following the death of acclaimed Hip-hop producer Blast last week in Abuja, Modenine hit us with a song off his first
body of work Malcolm IX titled Quest Media Freestyle which was performed in 2004 and features an intro by Six Foot Plus and an Outro by the late Blast.
Blast was instrumental in shaping the nascent sound of underground rap music during its inception and acted as an A&R/Music producer for different artistes like Naydo, Pherowshuz, Morell, Nore, Terry Tha Rapman, Ruleclean and more. He was more or less a SWAT ROOT affiliate and will be sorely missed by the Hip-hop industry.
